Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out in a time of unimaginable heartbreak. Recently, my 14-year-old son and his best friend were involved in a tragic accident. The boys had been hanging out and somewhere a firearm entered the picture. Tragically, the gun went off, taking the life of his best friend.

There are no words to describe the pain we feel for the family of the boy who passed away, whom we loved as one of our own. My son is utterly devastated. He will carry the weight of this tragedy for the rest of his life.

Now, we face the daunting challenge of seeking legal representation to ensure that my son receives a fair trial and the support he needs to move forward with his life. At just 14, he is a good kid and we believe he deserves a chance to heal and grow.
