Tiffany, my beloved friend, a single mother, and everyone’s favorite bartender was faced with a serious and sudden medical emergency. Doctors believe a ruptured ovarian cyst is the cause of a dangerous infection that had spread into her hip joint which required invasive surgery and now an extensive recovery period.

The road ahead includes not just surgery, but weeks of rehab, an in-home nurse, and being unable to work for 4–6 weeks—and that’s the best-case scenario.

As a single mom to two young children under 10, Tiffany’s top concern is keeping a stable roof over their heads during this incredibly difficult time.

Tiffany has no financial safety net. One of her children’s fathers is absent, the other has passed away, and her own father died just three years ago after a battle with cancer.

Tiffany was raised as an only child by a single parent who leans on a small but loving circle of two aunts, a few cousins, and close friends. Now, she needs a bit more help—from all of us.
