Support Tiffany Smith's Healing Journey
Donation protected
Our beloved sister, friend, and matriarch, Dr. Tiffany Smith, is in the fight of her life...and we’re calling on community to rally around her.
Tiffany is a passionate educator, equity & inclusion advocate, Indigenous scholar, and proud mama. She’s spent her life lifting others up, from directing student life and women in engineering programs to serving as a faculty member and researcher, helping Native students thrive in higher education and STEM. She currently serves as the Director of Research and Career Support at AISES. She’s also a brave, fierce, funny, and deeply loyal friend. Now it’s our turn to uplift her.
Tiffany is battling cancer with courage and grace...BUT her treatment has been physically brutal and emotionally exhausting. Recent medication has caused severe side effects, including intense fatigue, debilitating joint pain, and concerning vision changes. She’s barely able to stand some days, let alone continue with her daily routines. Her care team has reduced her dosage and ordered additional scans, including a brain MRI. This is a long road, and it’s not one she should walk alone.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on Tiffany and her family—so she can focus on healing, not hospital bills. Donations will go directly toward:
- Ongoing treatment and medical expenses not covered by insurance
- Travel and lodging for out-of-town appointments
- Daily living expenses, including support for meals and mobility at home
Tiffany has always shown up for others with knowledge, warmth, humor, and deep love. Now we’re showing up for her. Whether you give $5 or $500, every bit helps. And if you’re unable to donate, please share this page and lift up a prayer, share healing medicines, and send love and strength her way.
We’re so grateful for this community. Thank you for loving Tiffany through this fight.
With gratitude,
Sunny Myers (on behalf of Tiffany Smith and her family)
