Support Tiffany Rose's Journey to Health and Healing

Hi! I’m Briana Balmez and I am starting this fund raiser for my sister, Tiffany Rose Spears.

She has been dealing with severe chronic illness for the past few years. Things have taken a turn for the worse this past year.

We have been to SO many doctors. She had at least a couple appointments every week. Some of them 4 hours away in Nashville, TN. When her hemoglobin started staying in the 5’s, 6’s, and 7’s and 10 blood transfusions later we were not getting any help, we decided to come to The Good Samaritan Clinic in Juarez, Mexico.

They have run a scope and so many different tests to try to find a bleed. When nothing showed up, they did a bone marrow biopsy. That showed severely damaged bone marrow. Hardly any of her blood cells are normal and therefore they do not carry the oxygen they should and they die much more quickly. Hence the sudden drops in Rose’s hemoglobin, even up to one point a day.

They have done 2 surgeries and almost continuous IV therapy with vitamins and minerals specific for her and also red and white blood cell boosting shots. And of course repeated blood tests and 9 transfusions so far in the 3 weeks we’ve been here.

Aside from the myriad of other health issues that they haven’t been able to touch yet, what they are wanting to do as kind of a last resort (before considering a bone morrow transplant), is Stem Cell Therapy. Which is not cheap! But she would only receive it every few months if the first dose seems to be helping.

We do not know what the next few weeks or months holds for us. But we want to give Rose the best chance at recovering and gaining her health back that we possibly can!
