Support Tiffany and Pets After Fire Tragedy
Don protégé
Aloha everyone,
My name is Tiffany and I live in the bay area, San Jose with my small rescue puppy and my five cats and foster cats and kittens...
I absolutely love God, my family in Hawaii, I love animals and children, I love to make a difference in others lives positively, and I'm a caregiver, caregiving is my soul's joy..
I would never ask for any assistance with anything unless it was something very urgent and an emergency..
On July 3, 2025, at 7 pm, our electricity went out.. There was some sort of glitch with Pg&E. I lit some candles on my shelf at 9 pm, so we could see for a couple of hours before bed and fell asleep..
I awoke at 3:40 am, to my cats scratching my face and jumping on me, which they have never done before..
I smelled a thick layer of smoke in our bedroom, and what sounded like ocean waves. I got up to our living room, and our entire front half of our room was in flames.. The curtains, my computer and printer, all cat litters and supplies, jewelry, photos, letters and keepsakes, a safe box of valuable gemstones from familyc family heirlooms and my diplomas..
I immediately began to get huge bowl fulls of water and repeated to throw them on all of the flames. I was able to grab a huge comforter and start smothering the fire. After about 20 minutes, the whole apartment was completely black with smoke, and after I realize what happened, all of the walls were blackened, and everything smells like complete smoke and all of my animals and I were covered in black soot and the apartment is damaged beyond repair...
After informing my landlord, I'm getting an estimate from fire inspectors, it's no longer safe for us to live here, so we are trying to scramble and find a new apartment and in such an emergency situation, I did not have much in the way of savings so we are trying to pay for the damage done to the apartment and scramble to find a new place to live and it's been very very heartbreaking and very sad. I'm just so grateful that my animals saved us paragraph if there's anything that anyone can do to help in any sort of way replace some of the things we've lost in the fire and to get a new place to live and pay for the damage it would be so very very much appreciated, thank you so much. We really pray for and appreciate each one of you thank you so much and God Bless you all
