Hi, my name is Tiffany. I am a single mother of one teenager. I'm not one to usually ask for help, but this unfortunate circumstance has my back against the wall and I can honestly say, "I need help!" Since sometime in 2024, I've had continuous issues with my vehicle, the engine specifically. Every 2-3 months for almost a year, I was putting my car in the shop to replace the spark plug because of a known oil leak from the engine that Fitzgerald Hyundai confirmed but refused to replace. I was told that the engine would need to blow or the car would need to completely stop working in order for them to replace the engine. There is also a recall on the engine and they still did nothing. As a result, Saturday night while I was on the interstate, my car began to drive funny (shaking slightly). I slowed my speed, turned my hazards on, and suddenly, the car started slowing all the way down. I was able to pull over on the shoulder. I quickly turned the car off and my car started smoking pretty bad. I grabbed my keys, my purse, got out of the car, and started walking away from the vehicle. Moments later, the engine blew up and a fire started under the hood of my car on the Howard Franklin. A few seconds later, the car was ignited in flames and from a distance, all I could do was watch until assistance came. God covered me all the way through and I walked away harm-free. I'm so grateful for my life! The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help me purchase another car until I can figure everything else out. My son and I need a new car. Anything is greatly appreciated!
