Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to ask for support for our sweet girl, **Tierra**.

Tierra was born early with under developed lungs and had to undergo a **tracheostomy** shortly after birth just to help her breathe. This life-saving measure has been with her ever since, but it’s come with many challenges—physically, emotionally, and medically.

Now, thanks to her strength and the incredible care she’s received, Tierra is finally ready to take a major step toward independence:

She will be undergoing **airway reconstruction surgery (laryngotracheoplasty)** this **Christmas season** in **Northern California**.

This complex procedure will include placing a **stent between her vocal cords** to help open her airway and improve her ability to breathe and speak. The goal? To eventually remove her trach and give her a new level of freedom she's never had before.

But we can’t do this alone.

Because of the intensity of the surgery and recovery, Tierra and her family will need to **stay near the hospital for at least 2 weeks**—possibly longer and frequently for months post-op —away from home, work, and routine life.

We are raising funds to help cover:

* **Temporary housing near the hospital**

* **Travel and transportation expenses**

* **Meals and daily living costs during recovery**

* **Any unexpected medical or follow-up care needs**
