Help Tieara Find Stability During a Challenging Time.
Support Tieara during an extremely financially challenging time after a long, intense recovery from a life-changing surgery and months of unemployment.
My unemployment benefits ended three weeks ago. Unfortunately, there are no extensions available at the federal level for Oregon. I've used all my savings over the many months of being unemployed, actively looking for jobs since June. I've had no luck in getting an interview in this challenging time full of federal budget cuts. All of this is so discouraging and deflating. This has severely impacted my mental health and overall well-being.
After this month, I won't be able to pay my bills or upcoming rent. I'm really scared and need support during this challenging time.
I'm Tieara Myers, a BIPOC, gender-expansive, and queer person living in Portland, OR.
I've spent most of my life teaching and supporting others in finding safety, clarity, and themselves. I could really use support right now and can't do this alone.
My goal is: $7500 to keep my housing and support me through the end of the year.
Any support matters! Please share with your friends, family, or different groups and organizations.
This would give me the ability to have stability during this uncertain time. Your support means so much!
