If you don’t know who this amazing person is, it’s my little sister Tia. Tia recently moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to start a new chapter and be closer to her immediate family. Saturday, January third, Tia arrived back in the States from a mission trip in Mexico. Driving on her way back to South Carolina, she was involved in a serious car accident outside of Columbia, South Carolina.

So far, she has the following injuries: left shoulder dislocation with a broken humerus (upper long bone between elbow and shoulder), 5 broken ribs (3 back, 2 right front), left leg is broken and was dislocated (but was relocated and she had her first surgery yesterday where she received an exterior fixator), a broken tibia, multiple fractures in her lower back, pelvis broken in two places, slight tear in her liver, broken right wrist, and a laceration on the back of her head.

We’re thankful she’s alive and stable, but this is going to be a very long road to recovery with multiple surgeries to follow.

We’ve had multiple friends and family asking if they can contribute/help, so I started this for her.

These funds will go towards her medical bills, outpatient therapy, and medications.

We’re asking you to continue to pray for no internal bleeding, no infections, and for her pain level to be manageable. We’re not sure when she will be discharged, but she will be in a wheelchair for a minimum of two months and only allowed/able to use her right leg.
