Support Tiara Rigmaiden's Fight Back to Health

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, our dear daughter, Tiara, was found unresponsive on her bedroom floor by her teenage daughter. Rushed to our local emergency department by EMS, it was discovered that she had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain). This devastating event left her paralyzed on her left side and unable to communicate by voice.

Tiara has lived her entire life battling Sickle Cell Anemia, a debilitating illness that causes extreme pain by blocking blood flow in the body. Despite this, she has always been a fighter. Her own struggles inspired her to enter the healthcare field, where she worked tirelessly to earn her LVN license. She was thrilled to land her dream job at our local Emergency Department. Because Tiara was an on-call LVN, it came with limited benefits.

As a single mother, Tiara has always worked hard to provide for her daughter, never asking for help. Now, she faces a new challenge as she prepares to fight her way back to health and her beloved profession. Excitingly, Tiara was recently accepted into nursing a program to pursue her RN license, starting in the fall of 2024. She is extremely determined to recover fully in the next 5 months with extensive rehab so she can achieve her goals.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Tiara during this critical time. Since she is unable to work, she is needing assistance to cover expenses for rent, utilities, medical bills, and other costs associated with her recovery. Your monetary support will allow Tiara to focus entirely on her rehabilitation and return to work, without the added stress of financial burdens.
