Support Tiara: Angel's Loving Caregiver

This is my granddaughter Angel, a beautiful, loving, sensitive young lady living with Cerebral Palsy. Diagnosed at age two Angel's condition has left her with developmental disabilities, unable to speak and non-ambulatory. To ensure Angel receive the care she needs, her mother had to make the difficult decision to relinquish her day-to-day care to a residential care facility. Angel is happy and striving in her current environment and despite many days and nights filled with tears of doubt we have come to see she is thriving in her home away from home. This is in no small part due to the woman in the photo, of whom if Angel could speak, would tell you is her Best Friend, Tiara. Tiara has been caring for Angel over the last 7 years with amazing diligence and heartfelt Love. There is no way to express the peace of knowing when we leave from our visits, that Angel is with someone who Loves her as we do. Knowing she is there as part of Angel's care team gives me, her mother and our family unimaginable peace. It is easy to see caregivers as just doing their jobs, choosing not to see them as people with their own lives and life circumstances. I learned recently that Tiara is dealing with a great hardship after her engine blew on her (financed) vehicle. A working mother herself, she is without resources to repair the vehicle and continue to make her payments. If I were able to pay to have Tiara's vehicle repaired myself and provide her a small fraction of the peace, she has given me and my family, I would. But I am unfortunately not able. I am hoping to raise the $4000 needed for repair of Tiara's vehicle, however any contribution would be immensely appreciated and go a long way in helping me reaching this goal.
