Support Tia Pok's Family in Their Time of Loss

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our dear friend and colleague, Tia Pok, passed away last night after suffering a serious stroke over the Labor Day holiday. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved her – including many of our LBIG staff.

Tia was a loving mother to her two children, a 23-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son, and also provided support for her extended family. Her strength, kindness, and positive attitude always shone through as she balanced work, family, and caregiving. If you ever met her in the hall or breakroom, you felt the warmth of her big smile.

Tia worked as a contracting and licensing specialist in our Dallas office for nearly 3 years – always exhibiting a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to providing outstanding customer service. She earned her FLMI Level 1 certificate from LOMA as a part of her dedication to learning about the insurance industry.

Tia also assisted with corporate matters during the transition of our front desk staff, taking calls from the public and skillfully routing them to our vendor partners for nearly a month. Most recently, she was honored with the top prize in the Weight Loss Challenge as a member of the “Liberty Women Rock” gold medal team.
