We are raising funds to support Damaris Waters, who tragically lost her home and everything she owned in the recent devastating fires in Altadena, California. Her home wasn’t just a building—it was a place filled with love, memories, and the legacy of a life built over decades.

Since the 1980s, my Tia and Uncle built a life together in that house. They created a beautiful home filled with family, joy, and countless memories. My uncle’s music studio, where incredible records were made, their family heirlooms, photos, personal belongings, and even their daily life essentials—all of it is gone. This was more than a material loss; it was the loss of a lifetime’s work, a safe haven, and a place where generations of our family came together.

They’ve lost not only their home but also multiple cars, their career archives, and everything they owned. Despite this heartbreaking tragedy, they remain hopeful, and we believe that with a little help from the community, they can begin to rebuild their lives.

We humbly ask for your support in helping Tia Damaris and her family recover a small piece of what they’ve lost. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in giving them a chance to start over.
