Tia Acosta is a colleague of mine whom has endured a tragedy like no other. Tia and her family lost their home and all of their belongings in the Eaton fire. The family evacuated with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and one of their vehicles. She had no opportunity to save any items such as mementos as she was out of town at the time. As a result, all of her memories and cherished items burned along with her home. Like many others in her neighborhood, her family's life was turned upside down in an instant.

Tia has dedicated her career to helping others in the field of Special Education. Tia and her husband have 3 young children and a family dog. As you can imagine, trying to navigate everyday life during this time is beyond difficult as they are now displaced for an undetermined amount of time. All funds will be donated to Tia Acosta and her family to help create some stability in their lives. This will help them cover their immediate needs during this unimaginable time of tragedy.
