Thunder the Therapy Horse needs our help! On Thursday 2 October 2025 he is scheduled for a surgery on his right front hoof to remove dead bone that occurred from a severe hoof infection . In order for Thunder’s hoof to have the chance to heal he must have this surgery!
For the last 7 years Thunder has been an important member of his human mom’s therapy team in providing Equine Assisted Services to Veterans and their families in the Fort Hood area. We want to give him the chance to continue his important work with her and his herd mate, Amethyst!
