Help Us Give Cats a Second Chance!
Hello! We are a team of dedicated students from Texas State University, and we’re raising funds to support Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary, a no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Dripping Springs, Texas. This incredible organization has been rescuing and caring for homeless, neglected, and abused cats since 2001, providing them with shelter, medical care, and a loving environment.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Every year, millions of cats suffer due to overpopulation. In the U.S., an estimated 3.2 million cats enter shelters annually, and nearly 330,000 are euthanized due to lack of space and resources. One unspayed feral female cat and her offspring, assuming a 75% mortality rate, can produce up to 100 kittens in seven years—uncontrolled community cat populations contribute to overcrowding in shelters and unnecessary suffering for our feline friends.
How Your Donations Will Help
Just seven spay/neuter procedures could prevent 42 newborn kittens from entering the system this year alone! Our goal is to raise at least $750 to directly fund SEVEN life-saving surgeries and medical treatments for these cats in need. Every dollar donated will help provide:
✔ Urgent veterinary care and surgeries for injured and special-needs cats.
✔ Premium food and safe shelter while they await adoption.
✔ Ongoing medical support for cats who cannot be rehomed.
Every Dollar Counts
The most effective way to control cat population is through spaying and neutering. Each $95 procedure significantly reduces the number of stray, abandoned, and euthanized cats. If you love animals and believe in giving them a second chance, please consider donating. Even if you can't contribute financially, sharing this campaign with friends and family would mean the world to us.
Together, we can change lives—one paw at a time.
