After spending the last 1.5 years caring for her patients on the front lines of the pandemic, the Delta surge of COVID-19 hit Ai'ana's entire family all at once. Ai'ana's father and Jairo's devoted grandfather along with three of her uncles and an aunt were all hospitalized with severe COVID. Unfortunately, she has lost two uncles to this disease.

As a single mother of a toddler in San Francisco, her paycheck and her PTO are stretched at the best of times. We would like to raise money both to cover medical expenses and to allow her to take the time off needed to truly grieve and support her family after this tragedy without facing financial instability.
