A few weeks ago, our Cebu, Philippines office and the surrounding region experienced a devastating Signal No. 4 typhoon. With winds reaching 120 kph and heavy rainfall lasting nearly nine hours, the storm caused widespread destruction across the island. Many of our Cebu-based Thrive employees suffered major damage to their homes, including severe flooding, roofs being blown off, and fallen trees causing structural harm. This disaster struck just after the region endured two significant earthquakes, leaving many still in the process of recovery when the typhoon hit.

The impact on our team has been profound. Several colleagues and their families are now facing urgent needs for temporary housing, food, and emergency expenses as they work to rebuild their lives. The resilience and strength our team has shown in the face of these challenges is inspiring, but the road to recovery will require support from all of us.
