Thor isn’t just a dog… he’s family, a best friend, and a source of comfort to everyone lucky enough to meet him.

Thor is an 11-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with the sweetest soul. He loves everyone he meets, lives for his treats, and has spent his life giving love freely. But more than anything, Thor is Kimmy’s heart. He’s her constant, her emotional support, and her therapy dog all wrapped into one tiny, cuddly body. Their bond is truly one of a kind.

Thor has also become a therapy dog not just for Kimmy, but for anyone who crosses his path. He has a way of making people feel safe, seen, and comforted even on their hardest days.

On January 28th, Thor was diagnosed with bladder cancer.

Without treatment, the average life expectancy for this type of cancer is only about four months. Hearing that kind of timeline is heartbreaking, especially when Thor is still so full of life.

But here’s the thing about Thor.. he’s still fighting.

He’s still cuddling, still loving, still wagging his tail, and still showing the same sweet spirit that has touched so many lives. He hasn’t given up, and Kimmy isn’t ready to give up on him either.

So far, Kimmy has already spent over $10,000 on hospital visits, overnight stays, scans, and extensive testing doing everything she can to understand what Thor is up against and give him the best chance possible.

The next step is treatment. Thor will be starting a daily chemotherapy pill, which costs between $500–$1,000 per month. In addition, he will need regular recheck appointments every one to two months, each costing around $1,500 to monitor his progress and adjust his care.

We are asking for help to give Thor a fighting chance to give him more time, more cuddles, and more moments with the people who love him so deeply.

If you’ve ever loved a pet or lost someone to cancer, you understand how devastating it is to feel like time is being taken away too soon. No one is ever ready to say goodbye.

Kimmy has always been someone who shows up for others, and now she needs support during one of the hardest moments of her life.

The goal is $20,000 to cover ongoing care and treatment, but truly any amount, no matter how small, makes a big difference.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this means just as much!

Thank you for helping Thor continue his fight.
