Hello from Trinity Health Oakland and Michigan Medicine Pediatric Surgical Subspeciality clinic at 44555 Woodward Ave in Pontiac, MI!

This holiday season many of our patients and their families struggle to put food on the table while also caring for their complex medical conditions. We are hoping to start a food pantry in our clinic to better support our patients/families/community so that their full attentions can be on healing instead of worrying about access to food. Especially in times of uncertainty in which many families rely on SNAP, we are hoping to contribute to food availability now

more than ever.

We will be using all proceeds to stock our shelves with non perishable goods to be distributed to patients and families in need. We appreciate any donations at this time, and in the future, as we hope to expand this into a year round resource for the community.

Olivia Mears, physician assistant at the clinic, will be managing the GoFundMe account and payments will be transferred to her bank account in order to purchase perishable goods to stock the pantry. Pantry food will then be open to all patients and their families to freely take as needed. Distribution and recognition of those in need will also be assisted by our clinic social worker. All funds will go towards non perishable goods that will be purchased immediately and restocked through out this busy winter season.
