I met Thomas on the day he made the life-changing decision to commit to his recovery from substance abuse. I had the privilege of getting to know him on the drive to a treatment center in Florence, where he went on to complete a 90-day program with incredible determination and success.
Since then, Thomas has dedicated his life to helping others in recovery – leading workshops, offering guidance, and showing up for anyone in need. He is the kind of person who turns his pain into purpose and lifts others along the way.
Recently, Thomas was diagnosed with throat cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). He is preparing to begin an intensive treatment schedule – five days a week for seven weeks – which will make it impossible for him to work during that time. As a result, he will face significant financial strain, including difficulty covering rent and daily expenses.
Now, as he faces this new challenge, we want to rally around him the same way he has shown up for so many others. Our goal is to give him the support he needs to focus on fully healing – without the added burden of financial stress.
If you’re able to contribute, share, or simply keep Thomas in your prayers it would mean more than you know.
