Support Thomas Mensah's Kidney Transplant Journey

I am Michael Ampong, and I’m setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother, Thomas Mensah, who has been courageously battling kidney failure since August 2024.

The past year has been incredibly challenging for him and our entire family. After months of dialysis and countless medical appointments, doctors have confirmed that he will need $ 25,000 (USD) for a kidney transplant by September 2025, at University of Ghana Medical Center, Ghana to survive.

My brother is more than just a patient — he’s a loving husband and the proud father of two beautiful daughters who adore him. They need their dad healthy, present, and strong — and that’s what we’re fighting for.

Unfortunately, the road to transplant is not only physically and emotionally demanding, but also financially overwhelming. From surgery and post-op care to medications, travel costs, and time away from work, the expenses are quickly adding up. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your help in giving my brother the chance to live a whole, healthy life and continue being the amazing father and husband he is.
