Support Thomas Malone's Healing Journey

This GoFundMe has been created to support Thomas Malone, a cherished member of our community who is facing the fight of his life. In July, Thomas was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and his journey through treatment has already been a challenging one, with more obstacles ahead.

If you know Thomas, then you know he’d never ask for help on his own—nor would he expect it. In fact, he might try to say no, but he can’t refuse a gift of love from the people who care about him.

The financial burden of cancer treatment is staggering. While insurance is covering part of the cost, Thomas is still facing what could amount to over $200,000 in medical bills. Each chemotherapy infusion alone costs $22,000, and he’s scheduled for eight of them. On top of that are the fees for oncologist visits, consultations with specialists, additional medications, and hospital stays. His third infusion left him hospitalized for 10 days, demonstrating how relentless the treatment process can be.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help ease the financial strain so Thomas can focus on his recovery and healing. These funds will go directly toward covering medical costs and supporting him as he navigates the physical and emotional toll of treatment.
