Latest update- He has to have a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately he will be admitted 8-14 weeks in hospital during thanksgiving and Christmas.
we do have medical expenses, fuel cost, food cost, and regular bills that never stop. I have ran through all my pto with his regular appointments, surgeries and illnesses. My time off with him will be unpaid unfortunately but I will be by his side.
stem cell transplants are very hard and he has to have 24/7 care.
Update-
we got the devastating news his cancer has come back again for the 2nd time, he will need aggressive chemotherapy for 5 days in a row, outpatient.
then we are looking at a stem cell transplant that will be recovering in the hospital for up to 14 weeks.
He unfortunately will be missing most of 5th grade. He’s devastated about this news as he’s missed most of 3rd and 4th.
we will need lots of prayers and support for his upcoming surgery and treatment it’s very lengthy and the recovery is going to be tough and isolating.
My son Thomas Bran was diagnosed with stage 3 extra renal Wilms tumor on March 13th 2024. It’s been a long and tough battle, multiple surgeries 18 rounds of chemotherapy and 7 rounds of radiation. Countless hospital stays.
on October 7th we were suppose to be ringing the cancer free bell. However Brans CT scans showed the cancer has come back and it’s now spread to his lungs and belly. Anything Helps. I have been out of work since March and just started back at work in July part time. I’m going to be out of work again to be by my sons side.
monthly bills still continue, gas going back and forth to the hospital and treatments, copays everything is stacking up.
I know my baby will fight this and come out stronger than ever! We have an amazing village of friends and family and we need your support.
