If you know Thomas Andrews, you know the kind of man he is—selfless, strong, and always the first to show up when someone is in need. For years, Thomas has dedicated his life to serving others as a firefighter and paramedic since 2014, and volunteering since 2011. Today, he needs our help.

Thomas has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer. He has already undergone surgery to remove the mass—thankfully, that was successful—but his fight is far from over. He is currently traveling every three weeks to UVA for treatments, while also undergoing ongoing treatment at home with medication. As you can imagine, this journey comes with not only physical and emotional challenges, but financial strain as well.

Thomas is a proud father to four girls, and everything he does is for them. He’s also a dedicated Captain at Rockbridge County Fire Rescue, where he continues to serve his community with courage and heart. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, travel costs to and from UVA, medications and treatments, and supporting his family during this difficult time.
