Hello,

My name is Tawana and I have an awesome 8 year old daughter named Tamia. She is a special needs autistic person, level III. I do my best to support myself but lately it has been a struggle.

I just paid for her special needs summer class and medical bills that was needed. The summer classes are 450 a week. As she attends these classes, I can be confident that her social language, communication and other ABA therapies will be focus on throughout the summer, with minimal regression into the start of the school semester. Tamia does needs at least 2 more additional weeks but unfortunately what I paid for is all I am able to provide her at this time.

In addition to the summer camps I am currently taking a leave of absence to be able to take her to and from all of her therapy appointments & sessions every week. I do this all year long but it’s becoming harder.

She also has medical bills for her medication that insurance doesn’t pay for. I’m currently rearranging my bills to take care of this.

At this time child support from my ex husband isn’t consistent and is very minimal. I am the sole caretaker of our daughter, taking her to all her appointments, therapy appointments and providing her daily essentials. Therefore all of my living expenses, insurances, car, medical bills, etc are all being affected.

My parents can only do so much and I am grateful for all the support that they have given me and Tamia thus far.

This go fund me would give me a little bit of breathing room until I am able to go back to work full time.
