Support Thiago's Fight against Biliary Atresia

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

On September 19th, Thiago was diagnosed with Biliary atresia. This is a rare liver disease where the bile ducts are blocked and bile is unable to flow to the intestines.

He was only 4 months old when he was diagnosed, yet it was too late to perform a procedure called the Kasai that would have potentially prevented damage or further complications.

They were told around his first birthday would be the best time to receive the transplant.

Unfortunately, at 8 months old, Thiago got worse, and after 2 weeks in OKC, he was flown out to a Children's hospital in Texas where he has been for about a month.

Today, he was induced into a coma because he started bleeding from his liver and it was starting to fail. Thankfully, the bleeding has stopped. He is now on status 1b for his liver transplant. He is currently fighting for his life in the PICU.

We are asking for prayers. This is something no one could have imagined happening. First and foremost, we want his pain and suffering to end. God is the only one who knows when he will get his transplant, but we continue to ask for prayers.

I am asking for donations to be made to the family (Tavo, Yoselyn, Eliana, and Lionel) for medical, travel, and daily expenses. Every day is a struggle financially because of his critical condition, and they are 8 hours away from home without their other two babies.

A share or repost is also extremely helpful!!

Times are tough right now, but any contribution is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and pray for his recovery.
