Please help me, Theresa Watson, recover from AVM Gamma Radiation Surgery
Hi everyone, my name is Theresa Watson, and I’m reaching out for support as I have survived my second gamma knife radiation surgery to treat an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in my brain. My second surgery was on February 19th, and while I remain hopeful, this journey has been anything but easy.
Living with an AVM has significantly impacted my daily life. I struggle with speech difficulties, balance issues, and vision problems, making even simple tasks a challenge. This surgery was a necessary step toward better health, but the recovery process will be long and uncertain.
Why I Need Your Support
Undergoing two gamma knife procedures has taken a toll not only on my health but also on my finances. The costs of treatment, follow-up care, and the inability to work fully during my recovery have created a heavy financial burden. Your generosity will help cover:
✔️ Medical expenses and post-surgery care
✔️ Living costs while I recover
✔️ Rehabilitation, therapy, and any unexpected medical needs
How You Can Help
Any donation, no matter the amount, would make a tremendous difference in my life. If you’re unable to contribute financially, simply sharing my story would mean the world to me.
This journey has been incredibly tough, but knowing I have the support of my friends, family, and community gives me strength. Thank you for your kindness, love, and generosity—I am deeply grateful.
With love and appreciation,
Theresa Watson
