Hello everyone,
This request is extremely painful and humbling for Theresa so we are asking that you keep this private and do not share on social media. Theresa’s close friends decided to reach out to others for help as she walks through an incredibly difficult season.
She is currently going through a divorce while navigating a lot all at once — securing stable housing, actively job searching with multiple interviews each week, caring for her animals, recovering from a back injury, and processing the emotional weight of everything. She has been working hard to move forward, but she’s reached a point where she simply needs support to get through the next few months.
This GoFundMe is private only, please do not share publicly or post on social media. We are only sending this directly to people who know and care about Theresa or if you know someone who would want to sow into her via this private link and respect the privacy.
To give clarity and transparency, here are the immediate and short-term needs:
• $600 – Deposit for new housing
• $600 – Utility setup + May & June costs
• $800 – Gas for the next 3 months
• $400 – Pet expenses (food, care) over 3 months
• $300 – Phone bill over the next few months
• $800 – Basic personal necessities (hygiene, laundry, etc.)
• $1000 – Theresa’s 1/2 of IRS and credit card debt with Zach for next three months
• $2,000 – Car repairs and oil change
• $8,910 – 6 months rent up front
Total goal: $15,000
She needs $9,000 of it by Friday 4/17 to pay for deposit and secure the housing
Having these needs covered would give Theresa the breathing room to stabilize — to grieve, heal, and focus on finding a sustainable job she truly loves, rather than living in a constant state of survival.
This is not easy for her to ask. It’s deeply humbling, and she feels the weight of that. But she also recognizes her limits and is choosing to lean on community in this season. She believes that with God, all things are possible and that this is exactly what community is for.
We’re sharing a couple of photos so you can see her and the animals she’s caring for. If you feel led to give, any amount helps. If not, prayers and support mean just as much.
Thank you for caring, for showing up, and for honoring the request to keep this private.
With gratitude,
Gabby and Arielle
