Support Theo's Writing Dreams at Brown

Hello, friends and family! This is Theo's mom, Jean, and I am reaching out to you for help paying for Theo's summer writing program. I have never fundraised for myself before and I feel weird about it, but the kid worked hard to get into this program and it would be great if she could attend.

Last week, Theo was accepted to the presigious Brown pre-college program based on her writing, grades, and letters of recommendation. This is a big accomplishment for her after years of struggle. She is hoping to take a class on "Writing from the Heart: Empathy, Care, & Ethnography."

Although she was accepted just last week, the financial aid deadline was in early March. The college has confirmed that they will not provide any financial support for her.

Family members have generously donated to defray the cost, but the course is very expensive and I am left with a balance I cannot afford. Any amount you could contribute would be so appreciated!
