UPDATE 9/3/24:

Theo is still in critical condition, but we are out of the acute window. Right now we are trying to get his seizures under control before they move to wake him up. We are working with an epilepsy specialist for further evaluation and medication adjustment.

We, the aunts and uncles of Madeline Westcott, have created this Go Fund Me account to help defray the costs of the emergency medical situation she and her parents are currently experiencing. Madeline’s infant son, Theo Finn was flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh on August 23 with a life-threatening brain injury. He underwent surgery there and is now being cared for in the intensive care unit. At the time of this writing, he remains in critical condition. The doctors foresee an extended hospital stay for Theo which will require time away from work for Madeline and Curtis. While the FMLA will provide them with job-protected leave from their places of employment, it is unpaid. We wish to help Madeline and Curtis by easing their financial worries so that they can focus on being there in Pittsburgh with their precious, not-yet-4-month-old baby boy.
