Genny is creating this fundraiser for their cousin, Theodore Wertman, after a tragic accident changed his family forever. Theodore is only 5 years old and is facing the heartbreaking loss of his mother, Amanda, and his 8-year-old sister, Michaela. On top of this unimaginable grief, Theodore is also recovering in the hospital himself. This is an incredibly painful and overwhelming time for Theodore and his family as they try to process so much loss while also facing the practical burdens that come with it.
The funds raised will help cover Theodore’s medical bills during his hospital recovery and provide support for his father, Simon, while he is off work. Every donation will help ease some of the financial pressure on the family so they can focus on healing and getting through each day. Pike Co may be small but they have shown up in a big way for this family. Our prayers have been answered and Theodore came home from the hospital tonight.
