In late September 2026, our wonderful friend Theo is finally getting much-needed surgery after years of chronic back and neck pain. Help us support Theo - a queer and trans farmer and food justice advocate - and their spouse Tenaja through surgery and 8 weeks of post surgical recovery.

As you can imagine, the recovery from surgery is challenging – not only because of the physical limitations and pain, but also because of the current and future financial costs.

We’ll use all funds raised to support Theo and Tenaja as they navigate this very challenging recovery period. Your donations will be used to cover the following: surgical costs not covered by insurance, six to eight weeks of lost income, medication and post-surgical supplies, and caretaking costs.
