Support Theo and His Family

This is Theo. Theo is a good friend of the Self-Injurious Behavior  gang because we know and love his mama, Zenobia, who was our choreographer for the Dallas workshop of SIB. Theo is dealing with some pretty intense issues right now. He’s on the autism spectrum, and just recently, his mom and dad have noticed some of the same types of self-injurious behaviors emerging in him that the character of Benjamin uses to cope in our play. This is a very hard thing for all of them, already, but then, yesterday, Theo was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. As you can imagine, this is a tough blow for a family who is already fighting so hard, and now, they’ll have the expense of a hospital stay to deal with on top of the already stacked medical bills which will continue to be a regular part of their lives.

We feel we’ve already built a beautiful community of souls here on this page, and we wondered if you might be able to help this young family? Any amount is so appreciated! They aren’t asking for help, but they’re going to need it, and we’d like to do what we can to take that burden off them, as much as possible. They’re already carrying so much.
