Help Thea Heal After a Traumatic Accident

Over Memorial Day weekend, while we were out camping, my sweet German Shepherd Thea was tragically run over by a RZR. She was rushed to the vet, where we learned that her hip had been completely dislocated from the socket. Despite initial efforts to manually set it back into place, her hip did not stay in position — and now she’s in constant pain.

Thea is more than just a dog — she’s my best friend, my protector, and my daily companion. To give her the best chance at a pain-free and active life, she urgently needs a surgery called a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). This procedure involves removing the damaged part of her hip joint to alleviate her pain and allow her to heal and walk again comfortably.

The estimated cost for Thea’s surgery, post-op care, and recovery support is more than I can manage alone right now. I’m doing everything I can for her, but we need help. Any amount — big or small — would make a huge difference in getting Thea the care she deserves.
