Ervan and his wife Leah Zook were in a horrific accident on 9/28/2025 while heading home with their children when their carriage was struck from behind, causing the loss of their 9-year-old son Caleb and 7-year-old daughter Rebekah. Ervan, Leah, and the 3-year-old Luke suffered serious injuries and at this time Ervan and 3 year old Luke are sedated. Ervan is suffering from a brain bleed and the baby suffered a broken collarbone and some fractured ribs. Leah is alert and aware what's going on has a broken Vertebrae. They also lost their precious carriage horses. We ask it in your heart to donate to help this family through their time of need and to pray for their hearts to mend and the health of the Zook family. They will have a long road of physical and mental recovery. The Amish community also asks for prayers for all the first responders and the driver of the vehicle.

UPDATE 10/1 - 11Pm viewing day. There was an amazing turnout and support today. And some healing hearts as the girls that were first on scene and found Adam, the driver of the car to the first responders and life flight crew. It was a long day for Leah. There was great news on Ervan as he had opened his eyes and said the church members name that was sitting with him. He could nod his head to answer questions and also squeeze hand in response. The nurse said he showed great improvement in the last 24 hours. There was no update on Luke today. God bless
UPDATE 10/3 230 PM while at the hospital they did remove Ervan from the ventilator he is breathing on his own he can speak but they prefer he doesnt so his vocal cords can heal. He can move his arms shake your hand and nod to answer question. He did tell his dad yesterday thanks for coming. Luke is doing good they were going to do an mri on him but didnt happen when I was there. Look appears to be scared not understanding where or why he is there. I did get him some balloons and a stuffed animal because he loves balloons. He did watch them and squeeze his toy. A first responder went to see him and lukecwas sitting on the window still looking at the construction trucks. So he showed him a video and he watched that. Today was a great day for them
