Update as of 02/24/26
Kayla welcomed her sweet baby girl early at just 31 weeks — little miss Brylee Kay, weighing 2 lbs 4 oz. She is doing incredibly well, but she will remain in the NICU through the month of May as she continues to grow stronger each day.
Kayla is recovering well and is expected to be discharged tomorrow.
Your generous donations have already made such a tremendous difference as this family navigates both the joy of Brylee’s arrival and the long road ahead. Every prayer, share, and contribution means more than words can express.
Susan continues to bravely battle paralysis and, heartbreakingly, has not yet been able to meet her precious granddaughter. We remain hopeful for the day they can finally be together.
Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your continued love and support.
The Yeager Family is facing an unimaginable crisis that has turned their world upside down. Susan, a devoted mother and widow, was recently placed in a long-term nursing and rehabilitation facility after a sudden health issue left her paralyzed from the neck down. This life-altering event has brought immense emotional and financial strain to the family.
At the same time, Susan’s daughter, who is 30 weeks pregnant, was hospitalized for sudden medical complications. The family is now dealing with two major medical emergencies at once, and neither Susan nor her daughter have medical insurance to help cover the overwhelming costs. To make matters even more difficult, both are currently without any income, leaving them unable to manage the mounting bills and daily living expenses.
Having already endured the loss of Susan’s husband a few years ago, the Yeager Family is now reaching out for help. Your support can make a real difference for them during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help provide relief and hope as they navigate these overwhelming challenges. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
