Support the Yarbroughs and Blaze's Surgery Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Loved Ones of Audra, Jonny, and Blaze Yarbrough,

My name is Bethany Mossburg-Jennings, and I'm putting together a GoFundMe to help support their family as they prepare for the surgery and healing process of Blaze from Sagittal Craniosynostosis. For those of you not familiar with this condition, this is when sutures of the skull fuse together too soon, which can cause challenges for the head and brain to have the room needed for growing and proper development.

For this reason, Blaze is needing a corrective surgery on his head, which a team of surgeons at UC Davis will perform in early January 2025. The Yarbroughs will be there for around a week with pre-op, surgery, and initial recovery. Once Blaze is released, they will head home, where he will finish recovering and healing. The doctors have given the recovery process an estimate of 2 or so weeks, with follow-up appointments every 3-6 months for an unknown length of time.

Audra and Jonny will both be taking time away from work, with Audra taking the month of January off, and Jonny about 2 weeks to help with recovery. The commute to Sacramento for both the surgery and the follow up appointments is 2.5 hours away. Funds will go towards travel costs (lodging, gas, food), and help to support their time away from work without pay. This will also help cover any potential bills as a result of the surgery.
