Support the Wysockis in Overcoming Hardship

Hi friends, family, and other kind people reading our story,

My name is Amber Wysocki and I am humbly asking the community for support during this time. Our only vehicle stopped running. After multiple towings and expensive inspection, we were told we need an entire engine replacement.

For backstory and context, we are a neurodivergent family of 3 living in a rural part of Michigan. My husband lost his salaried position at the end of January when the company closed and left Michigan. We have since been (barely) keeping afloat with inconsistent freelancing and contract jobs. I offer online healing services, but it has not been enough to support us. We both have applied for positions that are available with no success. We have also applied for state assistance with no luck. With no safety net or savings account, the experience has been overwhelming.

Being without a vehicle has put us in a terrifying situation. Groceries have become too expensive to deliver. We are unable to take jobs that require us to be on location.

Our bills have stacked, past dues are mounting, and shut off notices are haunting us. Without a running vehicle, we are in danger of losing our home.

We are firm believers in giving to our community, local and abroad. Our family has given generously of our time and resources, and will continue to do so in our capacity. This has been such a humbling moment for us, because now we have to believe we deserve to receive, too.

We are asking for $10,000 to help support our journey of recovery.

Most of this request will be going towards an engine repair or to secure a safe/reliable vehicle. All other contributions will to pay off accrued debt from lack of employment.
