On Tuesday, Shamus Wykes suffered his second heart attack and is currently in critical condition, intubated at a hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. His condition remains very serious.

All of the Wykes girls had to urgently fly in to be by their father’s side, leaving their lives behind to support him during this frightening time. They are staying nearby in an Airbnb so they can remain close to the hospital.

Shamus does not have medical insurance, and the emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming. In addition to supporting their father, the girls are also doing everything they can to be strong for Asher, Shamus’s granddaughter, who means the world to him.

We are asking for help to cover temporary housing, travel expenses, meals, and other immediate needs so the Wykes girls can stay close to Shamus while he continues to fight.
