Our dear friend Jenn has suffered a major fall and is now in the Royal Alexander hospital in Edmonton. She has sustained serious injuries; four ribs, two wrists, her collarborne and shoulder are all broken - she also has a head injury and ruptured ear drum. We don't yet know the full extent of her injuries or how long her recovery will be but it's looking like a long road.
For the next while Jenn will need her husbands support in Edmonton and then at home with the children and farm - which means neither of them will be able to work. Without significant savings their family is in a vulnerable position while they weather this storm so I am asking for the community's help. Funds raised will go to living expenses that support their family of four while Jenn recovers, as well as costs associated with travel to and from Edmonton during her hospital stay.

Jenn and her husband Greg live at Seven Odd Acres farm outside of Peace River, AB with their two young daughters (7 and 2.5), dogs and chickens. Jenn has worked tirelessly for her community in the non-profit world as an adult educator and now for the Peace Region Solar Co-op, don't even get me started on everything she volunteers for! She is the first person to come running when you need help, whether it's an extra hand when butchering your chickens, or in my case, using her doula skills during the birth of my daughter.
