Hi, I am Kevin. This November, during National Veterans and Military Families Month, I'm running for 24 hours straight — no sleep
— to raise $1,000 for Wounded Warrior Project. As an active-duty Army officer, I want to bring more awareness to the the wounds - physical and invisible - that servicemembers carry.
November is National Veterans and Military Families Month — a time set aside to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who wore the uniform, and the families who stood behind them. There's no better time to put that recognition into action.
Wounded Warrior Project helps veterans who came home wounded — physically or invisibly — get the mental health care, physical rehab, and career support they need to actually thrive, not just survive.
Starting November 14th, I'll be running continuously for 24 hours to raise awareness and funds. It's a small sacrifice next to what these warriors carry every day, but it's what I can give: my legs, my time, and this platform.
Goal: $1,000
Every dollar helps:
$25 — a step toward mental health counseling for a veteran in crisis
$50 — helps fund physical rehab support
$100+ — real, lasting impact on a warrior's transition home
I'll be posting updates throughout the 24 hours — mile markers, low points, and (hopefully) the finish. Follow along, and share this with anyone who might want to join in.
Thank you for being part of this.
