Hello, we are here on behalf of the Woods family asking for assistance. They have gone through a tragic house fire resulting in one death and the displacement of two family members and their little Pomeranian, Mellow.

Our Uncle Bill and cousin Toby lost their wife/mother as a result of the fire and have both been displaced. Toby is currently in a medical facility near Harrisburg, Pa which is roughly three hours away from home and all family members. Ideally he would be local however he is in the closest place that can provide the level of care he requires for his complex and chronic medical needs. Toby has has in home care with 24 hour professional medical assistants for the past 30 years and being apart from his father has caused him to decline mentally and physically.

Bill is retired and on a fixed income and while they wait for their home to be repaired, he is traveling weekly to be with Toby. Bill is Toby's voice and advocate and has to be present as much as possible for Toby's needs to be properly met.

Bill has been a devoted caregiver for Toby and our Aunt for over a decade and a half and we are asking for help so he can be with his son as much as possible. We are asking for help with lodging, travel, and food until they have a home to come home to.
