Help Us Honor the Life of Kevin L. Wolford
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Kevin Lee Wolford, age 49, on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at his home in Columbus, Ohio.
Kevin was more than a husband and father—he was the heart of his family. A devoted husband to Heather, his partner of 33 years and wife of 27, Kevin was a loving dad to Courtney (Rojani) Bargola, Christin, Kevin II (Jazalyn), and Matthew (Jasmine). He was also a proud grandpa to Carmen, the apple of his eye. His deep love for his family was evident in every call, every laugh, and every moment he shared with them.
He was a man of faith, known for his sense of humor, love of the outdoors, and passion for music, from old school hip-hop to Chris Stapleton. Whether fishing, riding jet skis, or cheering on the 49ers or the Michigan Wolverines, Kevin brought joy wherever he went.
He spent many years working as a roofer and later building gas tanks for trucks at Pro Logic, always appreciating work that let him be outdoors. Even while living with Multiple Sclerosis, Kevin remained steady in his faith, fiercely loyal to his family, and a friend to many.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, children, granddaughter, mother Dodie Wolford, siblings, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry, brother Rob, and sister Tina.
As we prepare to lay Kevin to rest, we are asking for your help to raise $15,000 to cover funeral home expenses and a burial plot. Services will be held at Schoedinger Grove City, with a visitation and graveside service to follow.
