Recently, their lives were completely upended by an unimaginable tragedy. The devoted mother of these children and Steven’s beloved partner, Monica Wilkins, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. With her passing, this young family lost their anchor, their nurturer, and one of their biggest sources of love.

Steven is now navigating the profound grief of losing his partner, Monica, while facing the overwhelming responsibility of raising their three beautiful, young children as a single father. Drayke, Sapharia, and Kaida are processing a devastating loss that no child should ever have to endure in such formative years of their lives.
