Support for Jeff Whelan and his Family

Story

This GoFund me is to support the Jeff and Heather Whelan Family. Jeff Whelan was diagnosed with stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoma in early April 2025. His cancer was discovered as he was very sick and in the hospital being treated for pneumonia. He has had two blood transfusions and his first round of chemotherapy. Jeff is otherwise healthy. We hope he will fight and put the cancer in remission. His time in the hospital and each treatment and medication is costly. Jeff is unable to work at this time. Jeff and Heather's beautiful and spunky daughter, Jordan, has distal arthrogryposis. She will be having a tendon release in both feet, casting, and followed two weeks later by another surgery to release other tendons and move the plantar facia. While Jordy is no stranger to having surgery, this one is different. She will need to travel back and forth to Shriner's hospital in Greenville, SC. The date of this surgery is TBD. She is on the wait list with Shriner's. Heather is strong and holding everything together as best she can. She is supported by amazing neighbors and friends - helping with Jordy and caring for their pets. Heather's job is commission based and every hour she spends in the hospital is time she is unable to earn. How can you help? 1. Donate blood! 2. Keep Jeff and his family in your thoughts and prayers. 3. Consider contributing to this GoFundMe to help pay for the increasing medical expenses, help lift some of the financial burden, and maybe help this wonderful family find some fun! This GoFundMe was created by the extended Whelan family to support Jeff, Heather, and Jordan.
