This campaign was created by Ellann Miranda. Daughter of Frank and Debbie Welch.
This week has been a blur… Monday morning started like every other Monday. Debbie and Robert were at work. Frank, who is retired, was at home. Frank was relaxing in the living room when the house started to fill with smoke.
Frank frantically called 911 and got out of the house with his dog Skeeter.
Frank suffered severe smoke inhalation and had to be life-lined to Indianapolis to the burn center for treatment. Frank is still undergoing treatment as of this post.
One beloved cat was lost in the fire. Skeeter is currently missing. Through the chaos, he ran off.
The fire began on the front porch and quickly spread through the living room and kitchen. They have lost absolutely everything. Unfortunately, there will be no insurance to turn to for help.
In the face of this tragedy, we are humbly reaching out to our community to support the Welch family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
The funds raised will help Frank, Debbie and their son Robert begin rebuilding their lives. Specifically, the donations will go toward:
• Clearing their home of the charred remains from the fire.
• Begin to rebuild a new home. The family is still deciding what to do as to tear down or repair.
• Meeting their immediate needs, such as clothing, furniture, electronics, and essentials for their remaining pets (e.g., food and supplies).
The family will be updating this campaign as they navigate through the rebuilding/replacement process for their home. If you would like to donate any other way, please send us a message. We will provide an address you may send items, or cards. The Welch Family is in Flora, Indiana. The house fire happened in Bringhurst, Indiana.
Your support, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign, means so much to this family as they work to heal and rebuild. All funds are going directly to Frank, Debbie, and Robert.
Thank you, and God Bless!
