Support The Weddleton’s Home Damage

Hi, We are Joanna and Matthew Weddleton from Largo, Florida. We recently got married in March of 2024 and purchased our ‘forever home’ in August of 2024. Due to poor construction of our home, we started having issues when we moved in August, that only got worse through storms and rain (and is continuing to impact us in 2025). We had to hire a team to rip out our floors ($4,000) and a restoration company ($5,000 and counting) to rip out the baseboards and walls, as well as treat for mold. The floors that came with the flipped home and the windows were not installed correctly to begin with and didn’t have a waterproof layer under the flooring (we found out after we lifted up the floors).

The funds will be used to be pay for the costs associated with restoration including: hotel costs for displacement, floors getting ripped out, walls getting ripped old, mold treatment, new floors, new walls, new windows, waterproofing, new baseboards, new dishwasher, and drainage system outside:

Joanna and Matthew will be managing these funds together and depositing the money into their joint account to pay off deposits, costs associated with displacement and renovations.

This is not how we expected to start our first year of marriage. Our lives have been completely turned upside down.
