Help the Webb family thorough this very difficult time and unimaginable loss

My name is Ashley, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister-in-law, Sam, and the Webb family, who are facing a heartbreak no one should ever experience.

This week, Sam lost her grandmother — the woman who helped shape their family, their history, their strength. While they are trying to process that loss and make arrangements for her funeral, another nightmare is unfolding…

Sam’s father, Rob, has been fighting cancer for months, and his health has rapidly declined. He is being cared for at home by Sam, Michelle, and Rachel. Now that hospice nurses are coming in to help as well, it’s costing more than the family ever expected or prepared for. They are being hit with expenses every single day, on top of funeral costs for both losses, grief, and shock. Sam has had to take leave for her job in order to be home taking care of her father, so she no longer has any income to help pitch in with the costs.

Sam is facing the possibility of losing her grandmother and her father in the same week.

No daughter, no family, should have to carry this kind of pain — emotionally or financially.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Funds will go directly to:

• Funeral costs for her grandmother and for her father when that time does come (which seems to be any day now)

• Ongoing hospice care and end-of-life needs for her father

• Allowing the family even a moment to breathe without financial panic during their deepest grief
