This is my dad, Roger.

Like a dad to every one of our friends, the biggest and sweetest heart known by everyone who meets him… His wonderful and best dad heart is in fragile condition.

Last week, he was admitted to the ICU in Dublin - he was having a heart attack.

If you know my dad, you know this would be his third. A failure of a bypass from his open-heart surgery from nearly 15 years ago is what has put him here.

Dad clutches his scapular while they do tests of his heart.

Dad received the apostolic pardon.

He had been here before and would not take any chances.

God be praised, his heart has created its own little solution to a small part of this big problem. He is on bed rest and will have to go through extensive cardiac therapy and potentially another surgery before he can know if he is able to go back to work… The burden of the house is now solely on mom, Kimberly’s hands…
